Safety Surfacing

All play areas require safety surfacing of some kind to comply with safety regulations. Various types of equipment require different depths due to critical fall height of equipment.

Wet pour: A very durable and robust safety surface which is a recycled rubber based product which has to be laid on hard standing surfaces such as stone or tarmac. Wet pour is available in various colours and patterns

Play Bark: Play bark is a more natural looking play surface which comes in various grades and colours and is usually laid to a depth of 300 mm on top of the terrain membrane to reduce weed growth.

Grass mats: Grass mats are made from recycled rubber and can be laid onto any grassed area. They are designed to let the grass grow through for a more natural looking safety surface which means you can cut the grass with a conventional mower.

Artificial grass: Artificial grass is zero maintenance product and is a very durable saftey surface designed to blend in to natural surroundings.
